SONARAY™ LED Lighting to Exhibit New LED Horticulture Grow Fixtures at Cultivate’17 in Columbus, Ohio July 15th-18th
(Verona, Virginia – June 1, 2017) SONARAY™ (www.sonarayled.com), an innovative lighting brand focusing on industrial, marine, and horticultural LED grow lighting today announced plans to exhibit at Cultivate’17 in Columbus, Ohio July 15th-18th. Cultivate is a preeminent exhibition, networking, and learning event that attracts a diverse group of leaders and attendees from all functional areas of the green/horticulture industry.
SONARAY™ will be displaying a family of fixtures ranging from the 65-watt horticulture light bar (designed for vertical farming applications) all the way up to a more traditional 500-watt LED greenhouse luminaire. The family also includes versions of the greenhouse luminaire in 150 and 300-watt versions.
The luminaires carry an IP66 rating, indicative of the fixtures’ degree of protection relative to the intrusion of dust, water, or foreign substances into the fixture itself. The IP66 rating also means the luminaires can work well in dusty or wet environments which may be subjected to splash or spray down as is often found in an agricultural environment.
According to John Vidaurrazaga, Manager of Business Development; “Our new line of horticulture LED lighting enables us to provide added advantages to growers of various species of plants and foliage. These species may be of edible, medicinal, or ornamental variety, dependent upon the type and color spectrum of the fixture used. Our new line is extremely rugged, has performed well in tests for accelerating growth cycles for various plants, and is designed to consume much less energy and save commercial growers time and money.” He adds, “We understand that with the growing population in our world the necessity for faster grower-to-table delivery and the ability to grow in areas not normally conducive to regular growth of plants will be essential. We hope to play a small part in the process of increased and affordable food supply with our fixtures.”
The fixtures also carry a rated lifetime of more than 50,000 hours of performance and come with a choice of several beam angles. They will be on display in booth 1540 of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
